Plot
The film revolves around Suryakant Shastri (Akshay Kumar), a gangster who is also known as Boss. He takes the blame for a murder committed by his father Satyakant Shastri (Mithun Chakraborty) and goes to jail. After serving his term, he becomes a contract killer who works for Big Boss (Danny Denzongpa), a crime lord. He is cool and fearless, but also has a soft heart for his family.
One day, he gets a contract to kill Shiv Shastri (Shiv Panditt), a young man who falls in love with Ankita Thakur (Aditi Rao Hydari), the sister of Ayushman Thakur (Ronit Roy), a corrupt police officer who wants to marry her forcibly. Shiv is also the younger son of Satyakant, who disowned him for being honest and idealistic. Suryakant does not know that Shiv is his brother and accepts the contract.
However, when he meets Shiv, he realizes that he is his brother and decides to protect him from Ayushman and his goons. He also reunites with his father and tries to win his love and respect. He also helps Shiv and Ankita to elope and get married. In the process, he faces many challenges and enemies, but also makes some friends and allies.
